Frequently Asked Questions About Commissions
-
Commissions are one of the best ways to add personalized and meaningful art to your home. To begin, fill out the contact form here. This lets me know that you are interested in working together and gives me a general idea of what you are looking for. Once I have your information, I will email you to hear more about your vision and timeline.

Once you fill out the contact form, I will be in touch in the next few days to hear more about the project. We will talk through reference photos, size, pricing, and any important deadlines. Once everything is squared away, I require a 50% deposit up front. This allows me to purchase any new materials necessary for your piece. I will then work on a study (a small preparatory painting) that will give you a feel for how the larger finished piece will look. Once you approve the study, I will move on to the final painting. I offer 1-2 rounds of edits on the final painting to ensure that the piece is exactly what you are looking for! Once finished, the additional 50% payment is required and the painting will be shipped (or dropped off if you are local to Billings). Depending on the size and complexity of the painting, a piece can take 1-3 months to complete.

I love working with collectors to create a piece that fits their unique space. Commissions are one of the best ways to add personalized and meaningful art to your home. It is an investment in something tangible that will shape your creative imagination for years to come.
